you can get power meters like this which measure your power output at the back wheel http://www.cyclepowermeters.com/powermete...tAodqV13dw
but they are rather expensive,so anyone any idea of how I can make my own,you need to measure upto about 400 Watts and I am thinking of a strain gauge based thing but there are lots of design problems

I like racing because in a race no there is no time for posturing.
