Probably not, since that would probably more trouble than just using an external watchdog that can also cycle power.

I didn't want to point fingers. It's a line of ARM Cortex M-3 parts made by one of the bigger players in the business (also makes '51 parts and also has its own fairly popular proprietary architecture), and the companys name starts with "A". ;)
