#180074 - Don't see it [Ed]

the Nuvoton 'NuMicro M051' (in the 48-pin QFP) ARM variants appear to have the same pin compliment as a vanilla 8051

Note that's complement - not compliment

But I think pretty much the same could be said of any of the small Cortex-M0/3 available these days?

Truly a 'revolutionary breakthrough' in the microcontroller field, is it not? ;-)

I don't see what is particularly 'revolutionary' or a 'breakthrough' about this specific chip compared to other Cortex-M0/3s?

Or, do you just mean that the whole Cortex-M0/3 thing is a 'revolutionary breakthrough' ?

Edit:

Aha! But it does work on 5V - which could be good for migrating from legacy parts.

But I can't see any specification of VOH in the datasheet - is it there?
