#167095 - Did you think about the shunt error during the "make"? Responding to: ???'s previous message |
So your shunts are like my second drawing.
And you claim that your switchbox operation is make-before-break, which means that you for a while have two resistors in parallel before you disconnect the old resistor. But did you then consider what I did write about the second drawing? When you do a make-before-break with this design, you will for a short while have a combined resistance of 0.91R which means that until you disconnect the old resistor, you will have a shunt that is neither correct for the old scale, nor for the new scale. How are you taking these erroneous readings into account? |
