Linux has had its share of vulnerabilities, so what makes it potentially more robust? Given that Windows is more prevalent, it is also specifically targeted. So if we took away Windows and everybody used Linux, would we not suffer the same problems? Or maybe more so since the internals are available for all to see. Then we'd have Linux vs Apple wars. Mind you, I am becoming a bit of a propellor head since I'm doing a bit of embedded work with Linux... |
