#139778 - Expansion slot test equipment Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hi Stefan (et al),
I remember a time when one could buy a whole range of test equipment, DSO, DVM, Voltage/Current/Power Sources, Logic Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, etc., all as cards that fit in the expansion slots of a standard PC. As Stefan is intimating, these were a fraction of the cost of comparable stand alone units. Does anyone know why they went away? Is there a reason that they're no longer around? Just curious. Joe |
