I have no doubt you can. Now, there are scopes in the $1000 range I would never usewd because the trigger circuit is unsatisfactory. How do you plan to do as good as Tektronix making your trigger circuit. Do not even think about triggereing on repetitive signals, that is kid stuff, think about triggering on a 5nS noise pulse that appear once every half hour. not having a scope is better than havong a scope that makes you believe something is not there when it is Erik |
