#138187 - The commute would be prohibitive Responding to: ???'s previous message |
The faulty spelling, punctuation, grammar, and syntax, mean that there's been inadequate attention to detail --- and that you've failed to go back and check your work.
What does that say about you? I didn't say any of these things are a total disqualification, but they're a clue as to what sort of thinker you are. Are you fast and shallow, like a jet-ski? Are you slower and deeper, and very stabile, as you would be if you had a substantial keel? Sometimes poor grammar, syntax, and orthography are indicative of poor education, and sometimes they're indicative of sloppy work. Which would you want to present as representative of your offering? How many errors are there in your CV or cover letter? Did you spell the name of your college correctly? RE |
