Sociopaths are the more likely choice for management positions, since they are usually unemotional about their decisions and don't need to cope with emotional distress when they lay off half the workforce. They can make the decisions that are best for the company ... if that is their goal.

Unfortunately, manager may be too delusional or too selfish to make the best decision for the company, and instead make the decision that's best for their own bank account.
