#138184 - I dont think its always true. Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Attention to detail is always a good thing but I as some of you may have noticed a terrible speller,( some of you may be shocked to learn that) and Ive been told that its common in people who think far ahead of what they are typing or writing so dont pay attention when trying to get ideas down in a form that other people can understand.Having had some of these psycometric tests myself I have been told its because I assume that other people can 'read between the lines' f you will and infer what I am trying to get across.Until I get a speak to text machine that can type as fast as I can talk then its always going to be that way.
My handwriting is worse than my doctors as well so maybe thats related. Research has shown that people can read text passges perfectly well when only the first and last letters in a word are in the correct order. People don't pay attention when reading, they 'fill in' the meaning of words given the context of what they are reading and what they subconsiously expect to see. |
