Studies show that the individuals who rise up the company heirarchy generally do so by spending 70% of their efforts on furthering their career and less than 30% of their effort on doing their job. Whether you work for a good manager or not is mostly a lottery, and if they are idiots you have the option of maanaging them better or finding another job.
In general I still love engineering because it is so creative. PS there are plenty of jobs out there! |
