I remember my first experience with explosives. Me and the neighbor kid were down in the basement, we had made our own gunpowder and filled a small paint bottle with it. We poked a hole in the lid and put a fuse through, we were looking for something to seal around the fuse. We'll use wax I said, so I had the candle dripping wax around the fuse... and I bet you can figure out what happened... that's right the fuse lit! I tried to toss it out the door, but it hit edge and came back in. It turned in to a rocket and was bouncing everywhere. My mom came down after the smoke had cleared and we weren't allowed to experiment in the basement anymore. We discovered on the next attempt that epoxy was the way to go. Ahh the good ole days.
