#136149 - I dont think so.....
Responding to: ???'s previous message

While the baggy pants some kids wear these days seems awful, is it really worse than bell-bottoms of the 70's?

Agreed!

I have a feeling that the future with today's generation of teenagers is no worse than the present that is based on the last generation of teenagers.

I dont think so, when we were teenagers (I am now 46) there was no colour TV, no 100+ or 800+ cable channels (showing crap), and no WinTel computers with large colour monitors playing idiotic games.

We did the real thing, climbing trees, playing in muddy ponds, catching birds... you get the point!(I grew up in a large army camp).Apart from the real work which we did, cutting firewood, fetching water, bathing the dog etc.

Right now my teenage kid (son, 17yrs) is sleeping in the middle of the day! And I just dont know what to do or how to motivate him.

John.
