Why
The Unbelieveable part is the fact that they assume There is C code. maybe they assumed you just set them an assembly dump.
If they assume that you can just convert the C to ASM that is bad on their part.
Many people think that no one writes in ASM anymore. That C is the lowest languge. With most schools pumping out PC programmers why would you be suprised.
More interesting will be there response when you tell them it is ASM, you can not get in C, C++, or Java. Unless they want you to start over.
