That is ridiculous. If they depend on C, then they depend on the computer to covert it into processor code. Imagine if the assembler used had a bug in it....

I bet if that is the case the company will fold?

Personally, If the company does not know what codes that should be directly sent to the chip (or ROM), they shouldn't be working with it.
