#129902 - Population v sample sigma
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Hi Lynn,

Am I wrong, or don't you work at a chipmaker there in Austin? Maybe Motorola, or maybe a smaller (perhaps boutique) chipmaker? In any case, you are making dangerous extrapolations based on a sample size of one. If you are truly going to reverse engineer this chip, then characterize a much larger sample than just one chip. At least then you'll have some meaningful statistics behind your conclusions.

Just a thought, and good luck,

Joe
