They work here for about 20% of a king's ransom.
Housing in the Colorado front-range area is not cheap, but, if you stay out of Boulder, and out of the mountains, you can get a pretty roomy house in a pretty decent neighborhood for about $250K. However, I don't know any engineers who're pulling down 8, or even 7 figure salaries like they get in CA. I know, I know ... most people don't want to live in a teensy little 3000 square foot house, but I've found my house quite adequate and it only offers about 2400 square feet of clutterable space. RE |
