you are looking at a pretty modest place. No question that the price of housing here is waaaay over the top. And with poor air quality, shitty water (literally) and hideous commutes to boot. But no snow in most parts!

Come retirement time, most folks are leaving the state and even country (for Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama...). But still I think the rate of people coming to California is much higher than people leaving. Another big earthquake might alter that a bit. ;-)
