I just come to think of it: why do the CA companies outsource to India and places like that, I would guess they could outsource to saner places in the US. Here in RTP (Reseatch Triangle Park)there is no lack of talent (we have e.g. Cree, Ericsson, IBM, Nortel as well as Duke, UNC, NC state, and umpteen smaller institutes of higher learning) and due to the (almost) sane housing market people here actually are willing to work for only 90% of a kings ransom.
