#122530 - It's been three giant steps backward Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Yes the last three generations have been headed in the wrong direction. Literacy, culture, social and fiscal responsibility, and ethics have all lost, at the same time that square footage of housing, cost of automobiles, and crime have surged upward.
Why is it that youngsters now want 3000-square-foot houses when they still only provide about 1000 square feet of useable space? Why are they willing to pay for the unused space, its heating and cooling, and the taxes? Why are they willing to pay for those crappy U.S.-made cars? Why are they willing to tip when they received bad food and/or bad service? Is it the food? RE |
