Every time I've looked something up in Wikipedia, and it really mattered, I've later found it was wrong, oten much to my chagrin. Just consider the definition of Manchester encoding. Compare Wikipedia with the 802.3 standard, for example. Now you'll find that 3 of every 4 sites on the www will quote them, likewise being wrong.
There are lots of other examples. Now, I've been wrong before, so it doesn't shock me when I find it out. It just teaches me something. RE |
