One of my favorite mathematicians, John Allen Paulos, has just released an essay which shows the true state of the economy and how the Fascists currently in power put their obscene spin on it.

While the Fascists are trying to convince people that the economy is improving by quoting the mean income, the opposition is showing the true state of the economy by rightfully pointing out the median income.
