Sorry, I do not believe that. It's a popular, negative belief that feeds a class-warfare/class-envy society and is used by some politicians that capitalize on that warfare and envy. And, yes, there are exceptions. But I do not believe people, generally speaking, today are any more stupid than people a hundred years ago. And the belief that the most successful people in society are actually the most stupid is logically suspect.

BTW, downsizing and outsourcing is ultimately the fault of the "intelligent poor", not the "rich stupid." We're the ones that refuse to buy American products because the Chinese versions cost half as much. What do you expect domestic companies to do? Companies aren't cutting our throats... we're cutting our own throats!
