Do you know what I don't like in your approach? You know beforehand that something won't work, even if you don't try.

And, you sometimes tend to read only the beginning of longer posts, or perhaps you read too quickly. What I suggested above is exactly the same as your suggestion - except for the requirement of entering the e-mail.
