The Wikipedia is not a safe source of information. It has been shown to be slightly less accurate than printed encyclopedias, and, those are only ranked on the order of 70% correct.
I've seen some items that are, year after year, quoted from the Wiki-pedia, yet even after corrections, thoroughly supported by industry standards, are offerred by some individuals, the incorrect, and in one case I'm thinking of, 180-degrees out of phase (yes, that means NOT was omitted), information has presisted for over a decade.
