If the IC legs are in place and soldered to the PCB then the break must have occurred after reflow soldering. If these PCB's are in panels and V-grooved to allow them them be easily separated, then the breaks in the IC legs are likely to have occured during the "depanelizing". If the IC's with the broken legs are located near the V-groove, then this is strong evidence. Good luck, please let us know what you find out. Cheers, Bert |
