You MUST analyse this with Laplace transforms... That's not simple at all. In my final year project (physics) I analyzed a GaAs microstrip particle detector for the ATLAS experiment at CERN by the help of Laplace transformation, and I can tell you, that my prof need some time to understand what I did there... By the way, the Laplace transformation was needed, because the GaAs microstrip detector could only be partially depleted at that time, resulting in a complex hetero structure. I was the first analyzing this GaAs by Laplace transformation and could show, that the detector was behaving like a fully depleted one, regarding to detector capacitance in signal frequency range and amplifier noise matching.
