#188930 - another solution Responding to: ???'s previous message |
When touching pin 6 (XTAL1, input, high impedance) the clock stops. But, sometimes, with everything connected to ground (even my body), the program stops and it does not start even after recycling power! It is necessary to reprogram the part.
Solution: cover the Xtal and pin6 area with plastic weldind rod. another solution: don't touch pin 6. Why would anyone want to do that It seems that the flash got corrupted by some high voltage spike not a surprise. If you want to be able to do a touchy feely you need to make sure the decoupling is perfect and that ther are no high impedance entries to the chip such as an unconnected input. (neighbor pin to what you touch) Erik |
