Nice Mobitec sign, Andy.

I haven't seen one of them in years! They've all been replaced by LED or other electronic displays
there still, in a few places I travel, are some older buses with flip-dots.
anyhow, the tendency now is replacing Amber LED with color signs.

Anyhow, re LED signs we had a 'conflict' in California: the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) mandates a visibility requiring an intensity (in sunshine) that exceeds some CA regulation. So buses adhering to one law (ADA rules) are sometimes ticked for breaking another law (CA regulation).
