As I mentioned before, not all SIL resistor packs are wired this way: some have individual resistors; some have them connected in series, etc, etc...

eg, look at the schematics in this datasheet: http://docs-europe.electrocomponents.com/webdocs/0...0289b7.pdf

So, when buying resistor packs, you have to make sure that you order the correct type - again, it is not sufficient just to ask for a "10k SIL resistor pack" !
