#180852 - Just because the paint is dry doesn't mean it won't work Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Most of the stuff I've done lately, particularly as follow-on or upgrades for work started in the '80's, is on hardware and firmware on which the paint is thoroughly dry. It's been working satisfactorily since then and when a new feature or added piece of hardware is required, it makes no sense to replace the whole system with something "modern."
