#180789 - I'd submit that there are "gotcha's" Responding to: ???'s previous message |
It doesn't take long to become a HLL programmer. However, becoming a good, rigorous, disciplined programmer takes not only a long time but a specific personality type as well. Some people, no matter how much code they've written over how many decades, will never generate as solid a code body as those who have both the training and the personality for it.
Just look at what we get from "newbies" every year! First of all, there are all those looking for a shortcut. Then there are those too lazy to learn to "do it right." Few are even willing to consider using ASM ... that's too much work, after all, as they have to learn the low-level details of their MCU first ... <sigh> ... and who wants to do that? RE |
