Just to clarify,
Patent claims are actually written by your patent AGENT, THE expert in the language of the patent, who helps you broaden the scope as widely as possible to prevent the one component change that's been mentioned.

Patent agents are not legally qualified, but I wouldn't want anyone else to draft that part of my patents.
