I wonder if most people ever actually bothered to update their (existing) systems at all?

Is that just for geeks?

I have certainly never updated a system from one Windoze version to another; - I've only ever changed Windoze version because I've been replacing the system anyhow.

(and, for the most recent replacements, I made sure that they came with XP - not Vista).
