#166596 - Always a lot of work with radios
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Even soldering a wire between antenna input and ground on a Wavecom GSM module normally fails to kill the connection if you live in a region with good signal strength.

A previous radio-based product was tested in a shielded box with a computer-controlled door to enable/disable reception. With the door closed, the trimming, emissions etc was controlled with a RF test instrument. With the door open, serial numbers where exchanged for automatic bar-code printing etc.

Life gets interesting when working with receivers with sensitivities of -120 to -150dBm or better.
