Digikey/Mouser is good even for quantity purchases but the product should be your own and selected. The problem creeps in if your client wants you to use a particular item which suits them in their application and is being held by Cheap Sales agents you are then gone. You cant refuse , it will definitely get you into the clutches of people you wouldnt even pass a look , Arrow ;-) .
