My lack of problems getting one may be due to the "who cares about 25% price difference when one is the quantity" which makes DigiKey/Mouser first choice. For quantity purchases, I contact my "friends" in the distributor network, it is not difficult to ask your "friends" first and possible others later. Of course, for a newbie it will take some time to develop the "list of friends".

I think those that spend an hour shopping for $5 a lower cost of a "once" order have little regard for the value of their own time.

PS "who cares about 25% price difference when one is the quantity" of course do not apply when it is a $5000 scope or such.
