Yes - the 1-WireTM Search Algorithm relies upon the Wire-AND effect on the wire - I think that'd be very tricky with RF...

The variable propagation delays due to multipath, etc, also won't help; and we don't know over what range this is supposed to work - which further complicates it...

(it must be quite a significant range to allow sufficient space for all those billions of slaves...)
