#153340 - automatic Responding to: ???'s previous message |

If it has to be entirely automatic, perhaps you could have the initial power-up state of a slave to be to send out some kind of "I am here" message periodically, and wait for a response from the master. The master's response would assign the slave its address for future use... You'd obviously have to come up with some scheme for collision avoidance and/or recovery... 'N' New slaves can be added as per requirement without the masters being updated . Yes this is a way as you point out , instead the slaves can broadcast when the detect masters presence, but collision avoidance is a problem any insight ?. I do have a RSSI signal with the modules, but slaves dont listen to each other . Ap |
