Again, if you're doing development under DOS, I think you're hurting your productivity. If you're doing your work under Windows or other GUIs and are targeting DOS, I can see that being useful. I wouldn't advocate using Windows for a stand-alone application that just has to work 24/7, reliably, forever. DOS is good for that. But it's not good for productivity. Regards, Craig Steiner |
