wat that the majority of "backup" software didn't work as advertised.
Copies are not backups. While it's true that backups are essentially copies, Absolutely may be because each one has different problems for same conditions ? , this is the first ever time my FAT32 got corrupted for some unknown reasons , I tried R-studio demoversion but it showed me "?" question marks to most of my directories I left procuring it , then I tried Seagate recovery software though it was able to recover most of the files as showed in the demo program but some folders were empty (I was too early with my reply) , I dont know why .I then tried 'Get data back' software which recovered all the files even those which were deleted by me long time a go , too much data it was about 30GB. I then moved on to Fat 32 recovery options searched Microsoft website and got a clue and was finally able to get the FAT32 repaired and all the direstories in the drive came back to life again. I only backed up important files but when the drive collapsed I felt all the directories that I used to see regularly were equally important . I have now backuped those directories as well .
