Wildly off topic, but...
Can anyone help me find out how to change the NAME of a comport on a Windows PC ? I have six in my current control system, and they are all made by the same people, so they all ennumerate as "Prolific USB to Serial Device" Now, I'd like them to say what they are driving - like COM1 - DRO driver, COM2- Modbus interface etc. Any clues ?
