As I recall, dents on the top of X-band waveguide were inductive, and on the sides were capacitive.


Wait a minute. Doesn't that have to do with whether the mode is TMij(k) (Transverse Magnetic) or TEij(k) (Transverse Electric)?

Or is the mode implicit in "X-band?" What does "X-band" mean?
