In the DOS-based OrCAD, you don't have to isolate your own choices. You simply include ALL the libraries,

that would make it quite a list. I like the "my list" for two reasons a) the list is short and b) I recognize the names :).

One particular case where the "my list" comes in real handy is that I have named 5V Vcc and 3V3 Vdd and thus I have two parts e.g. 74HC02_5 and 74HC02_33 one using Vcc the other using Vdd.
