#131876 - re "library find"
Responding to: ???'s previous message
I know no designer that does not routinely use "his/her" parts for 80%+ of a design. Thus I have "my" library, which is a mix of parts copied from (slowly found) ORCAD libraries and parts specified by me. After umpteen designs I rarely have to go anywhere but to "my" library and, if I have to, I copy the part to "my" library. The problem for ORCAD and its peers is the balance between 'easy' and 'complete'. By extracting/adding to 'my' libray I gain a) everything in one place and b) a library I am intimately familiar with. Thus I consider "the difficulty in finding parts" a moot point.
