I'm currently working in a very small company and looking for some software to put my schematics in. I don't need to do any layout at the moment as we have another company that does this for us
the most important issue in this situation is that if the "other company" can not use the file format your schematic is in they will have to copy it manually. I were in that situation once and the cost of the copying, while significant, what not ythe issue but the ERRORS from a human transfer were totally unmanagble.

So, whtever you decide to use, make 110% sure that your layout company can use the file generated. EVERYTHING ELSE is insignificant.
