I once had to present a "solution" to a problem, but didn't want to make it obvious how I'd done it, so I got out my electric erasing machine (that was back when we drew our schematics by hand, using pen and ink on vellum) and erased the labels from all the IC's. That removes the labels quite handily, yet does no damage to the device.
Since I knew the configuration of the circuit, I could check my drawings to determine which component was which. RE |
