But what I'm interested in, is a methode where a person actually needs to destroy something to get information about the chip. With your methode he can still remove the sticker or epoxy glue and tell, it happened somehow by accident: "I'm so sorry, I put the osci probe to the package, and 'hopp' the epoxy glue broke!" Or: "I'm so sorry, but I had the board in the sun, and 'hopp' the sticker came off. When removing the paint by a suited solvent, on the other hand, he finally needs to crack the chip, to find out what chip it is (was...). Kai |
