#125099 - let me elaborate on the idea... Responding to: ???'s previous message |
... of sticker and drop of epoxy.
1. "multifactor" security. Drop of epoxy AND the sticker over it. Make it clear to the client that there is the epoxy under the sticker. It would be much more confusing for them to explain "we left it on the sun so the sticker went down then we picked the epoxy by accident..." than the plain one. If you can drill two holes next to the chip, you can add a "plastic strip tier" (I don't know what is the proper name), as a third "factor", so that it would be difficult to remove even the sticker. 2. if the "epoxy" drop has good adhesion, it might be that it cannot be removed without destroying the "print". Experiment with multiple glues (Loctite has a wide range of glues of various properties, and maybe also others) JW |
