yes fine. It does the same as of my 555 circuit. also avoids the need for any debounce circuit.

No, it does not!
You obviously haven't understood what I have done so far in my last schematics: Think what happens, if you release the switch after the pulse has ended. Then, debounce of switch will invoke further pulses!
I also stated, that the 74121 is much more sensible against noise at trigger input and on supply voltage. So, you will need to do more filtering!
